Resumo: The book Niketche: A story of polygamy, written by Paulina Chiziane, presents in a sagacious and enganging way the story of Rami, her husband Tony and his other wives. Approaching the multifaceted reality of the African country of Mozambique shortly after it's independence, the book highlitghs the point of view and perceptions of strong women and invites it's readers to think about the polygamy culture and all the sociospatial structure of the country in which the story takes place.
