Resumo: Based on the experience of telling mythological stories from Metamphorphoses by Ovid, this study investigates transformational and referential aspects that are present in the act of storytelling. Furthermore, we examine the continuous process of resignification of myths and we explore the ovidian concept of metamorphose, “omnia mutantur, nihil interit” (Met. XV, 165). The purpose of this paper is to approach the inverse process by which mythological narratives were established (from orality to writing), highlighting the relevance of the contact with literature through storytelling.
