Resumo: Based on Benjamin’s concepts, the work aims to contribute with an accurate reflection related to the rewriting of the myth of Minotaur in its old variants, by authors like Plutarch and Apollodorus and modern authors, like Jorge L. Borges and Verônica Stigger. There is the intention of reflecting on how the phenomena of transmissibility and quotation had been worked, making the representation of Minotaur present to the advent of Contemporaneity, and the aspiration of meditating on the new readings of the myth of Minotaur and the possible meanings in new contexts.
