Resumo: In this study, we present an annotated translation of the Third-century Latin text named Passio Sanctarum Perpetuae et Felicitatis (“The Passion of Saints Perpetua and Felicity”), which deals with the Christian communities in North Africa under the Severan dynasty, more specifically, with the martyrdom inflicted on the two women named in the work’s title. To this purpose, the translation follows Heffernan’s critical edition (2012), collated, when necessary, with the Greek version of the text, as it appears in Amat (1996).
