Resumo: | This text aims to analyze part of the results of a context evaluation process, which focuses on oral, reading and writing educational practices, in a kinder-garten of the municipal public school of Rio de Janeiro. To develop a context assessment in the institution, an instrument was developed and a methodology of its own based on Bondioli and Savio (2013, 2015). After going through all the phases of context evaluation, the results evidenced by the team involvement and collective commitment to the educational improvement of the institution, a formative power of the evaluation proposal. |

After going through all the phases of context evaluation, the results evidenced by the team involvement and collective commitment to the educational improvement of the institution, a formative power of the evaluation proposal.Este texto tem como objetivo analisar parte dos resultados de um processo de avaliação de contexto, que focalizou práticas educativas de oralidade, leitura e escrita, em uma escola de educação infantil da rede pública municipal de ensino da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Para desenvolver a avaliação de contexto na instituição, foi elaborado um instrumento, e desenvolvida a metodologia própria desta avaliação com base na perspetiva de Bondioli e Savio (2013, 2015).
