Analysis of the Class Head-Teacher Project: a study from the policy cycle approach.

This article is a cutout of from a master's research, and aimed to analyze the main factors that compromise the policy enactement of the Class head-teacher Project – CMTP, as well as to identify strategic actions that can contribute to the improvement of this policy in a <omitted for blind reviewin> the light of Stephen Ball and collaborators' policy cycle approach. For this, documentary research, bibliographic research, in addition to the application of questionnaires and interviews were used. The data revealed that the factors that compromise the implementation of this policy refer to the reduced workload of the project, the lack of training and minimal participation of the family in the school. From a macro perspective, it is observed a lack of legislation to regulate this state policy. To mitigate these factors, there is a set of strategic actions that may provide improvements in the CMTP educational policy enactment.
