Resumo: The authors present the clinical evaluation of oral treatment, topical and oral-topic for vulvovaginal candidiasis, and ensure that there is no difference between the oral and topical oral treatment (p> 0.05). Believe that the oral treatment should be encouraged, not associated with the drug topic, it increases the cost without additional benefit. Believe that the topical medication should be limited to patients with contra-indication to oral maedication.
