Teachers’ initial education and Instagram use: network formative processes from the @meninasdapedagogia profile

Resumo: This study focuses on the analysis of a formative experiment with the creation and use of an Instagram account in a class in the Education undergraduate course at the Northwestern Bahia College – FANEB and present the teaching strategies used in a digital technology context. The study sought to answer the question: “How did the construction of the @meninasdapedagogia Instagram profile impact the initial education of students in the undergraduate education course in the Northwestern Bahia College – FANEB? The methodology was based on qualitative descriptive research, collecting data from a round of conversation with five students from the said course. The data was analyzed based on the researchers’ inference in the light of the theoretical background used. The reports presented revealed that the Instagram use for teaching purposes has potential to unveil the students’ impression of the formative practices developed in the @meninasdapedagogia profile, evidencing direct contributions to the teachers’ initial education.

El estudio buscó responder al siguiente problema: ¿cómo la construcción del perfil en Instagram @meninasadapedagogia refleja en el proceso de formación inicial de los estudiantes del curso de licenciatura en Pedagogía de la Facultad del Noreste del Estado de Bahia (FANEB)? Metodológicamente, se utilizó el abordaje cualitativo de investigación, con carácter descriptivo, cuyo dispositivo para la recolección de datos del campo empírico fue un círculo de conversación con 5 (cinco) estudiantes de ese curso. Los datos fueron analizados a partir de la inferencia de los investigadores, a la luz de la contribución teórica utilizada. Con los relatos presentados, se puede observar que el Instagram como finalidad pedagógica tiene el potencial de revelar las impresiones de las prácticas formativas desarrolladas en el perfil @meninasdapedagogia, evidenciando contribuciones directas en la formación inicial del profesorado.O presente estudo tem como foco central analisar uma experiência formativa com a criação e utilização do Instagram em uma turma do curso de Pedagogia da Faculdade do Nordeste da Bahia - FANEB, bem como apresentar estratégias pedagógicas utilizadas no contexto da cultura digital. O estudo buscou responder à seguinte problematização: como a construção do perfil no Instagram @meninasadapedagogia refletiu no processo de formação inicial das estudantes do curso de graduação em Pedagogia da Faculdade do Nordeste da Bahia (FANEB)? Metodologicamente, utilizou-se pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, com caráter descritivo, cujo dispositivo para a coleta de dados do campo empírico foi uma roda de conversa com cinco discentes do curso supracitado. Os dados foram analisados a partir da inferência dos pesquisadores, à luz do aporte teórico utilizado.
