Com o objetivo de avaliar os efeitos do uso de fileiras duplas e plantio em canteiros na produtividade de raízes tuberosas de mandioca, sob dois sistemas semimecanizados de colheita, com uso de afofador ou de arrancadora, bem como o resultado econômico da combinação desses sistemas, foi conduzido um experimento no município de Aguaí - SP. O levantamento de canteiros e o plantio foram realizados mecanicamente. Utilizou-se a cultivar IAC 13 e espaçamentos de 0,9 x 0,6 m (fileira simples) e 1,60 x 0,60 x 0,60 m (fileira dupla). O delineamento experimental foi o de blocos ao acaso, no esquema de parcelas subsubdivididas, com oito tratamentos e três repetições. As parcelas constaram de dois tipos de fileira (simples ou duplas); as subparcelas da presença ou ausência de canteiro e as subsubparcelas compuseram-se da colheita com afofador ou arrancadora. Foram avaliados o estande inicial e o final, altura de planta, diâmetro do caule, produtividade de raízes e da parte aérea, índice de colheita, número de raízes tuberosas por planta, porcentagem de amido em raízes tuberosas, capacidade de campo operacional dos equipamentos de colheita e perdas. Na análise econômica dos sistemas de produção de cada tratamento, os indicadores econômicos considerados foram: receita bruta, margem bruta, relação benefício/custo, ponto de equilíbrio e custo unitário. O uso de canteiro promoveu maior altura e número de raízes tuberosas por planta, além de menor percentual de perdas na colheita. O diâmetro de caule e a porcentagem de amido em raízes não foram influenciados pelos tratamentos aplicados. A capacidade de campo operacional do afofador foi superior nos dois tipos de fileira utilizados, no entanto, as perdas na colheita foram maiores, além da demanda complementar de mão-de-obra. A produtividade de raízes tuberosas foi 34,4% maior no sistema de cultivo com canteiro, mas não foi influenciada pelo tipo de fileira. O uso conjunto de fileira dupla, canteiro e colheita com arrancadora promoveu a melhor relação benefício/custo, sendo considerado o sistema de cultivo mais rentável.The evaluation of new cultivation systems, above all those that reduce production costs and environmental impacts, are essential for agribusiness. With the objective of evaluating the effects of the use of double rows and planting in beds on the productivity of tuberous cassava roots, under two semimechanized harvest systems, using a soil disaggregator or up root tool, as well as the economic result of the combination of those systems, an experiment was conducted in the municipal district of Aguaí-SP. The raising of the beds and the planting were mechanically conducted. The cultivar IAC 13 was used at spacings of 0.9 x 0.6 m (simple row) and 1.60 x 0.60 x 0.60 m (double row). The experimental design was randomized block, in split-split plot outline, with eight treatments and three repetitions. The parcels consisted of two types of rows (simple or double); the sub-plots of the bed presence or absence and the split-split plots were composed of the harvest with soil disaggregator or cassava up root tool. The initial and final stands, plant height, stem diameter, root and aerial part productivity, harvest index, number of tuberous roots per plant, tuberous root starch percentage, operational field capacity of the harvesting equipment and losses were appraised. In the economical analysis of the production systems of each treatment, the economic indicators considered were gross yield, gross margin, cost enefit ratio, breakeven point and unit cost. The bed use promoted a height increase and an increase in the number of tuberous roots per plant, besides a lower harvest loss percentage. The stem diameter and the percentage of starch in roots were not influenced by the applied treatments. The operational field capacity of the soil disaggregator was superior in the two row types used, however, the harvest losses were higher, besides the complementary labor demand. The productivity of the tuberous roots was 34.4% higher in the cultivation system with beds, but it was not influenced by the row type.
