Resumo: The purpose of this work was to realize an evaluation of what has been offered in terms of performing services by the operating companies of traceability credenced by the Agriculture Ministery, Pecuary and Supplying. The research was divided into two different parts where the first one consisted of making an evaluation of the way that the company appears on the Internet, considering the following aspects: Time of Load, Appearance, Structure, Navigation, Usability, Content and Specifics for the Research. The second one consisted in submitting the two companies that got the best performance in the evaluation questionnaire of Web Site (the first stage) in an evaluation of the Software used by them in order to make a certification. Such evaluation consisted of checking if it is easy to operate the Software, if the supplied reports are clear and efficient, if the documentation is sufficient for the user, if the ways of support offered to the user are mentioned and if the software permits communication with other equipment.

A pesquisa foi dividida em duas etapas distintas, a primeira consistiu em avaliar a forma como a empresa se apresenta na Internet, considerando os seguintes quesitos: Tempo de Carga, Aparência, Estrutura e Navegação, Usabilidade, Conteúdo e Específicas para a Pesquisa. A segunda etapa, consistiu em submeter as duas empresas que obtiveram os melhores desempenhos no Questionário de Avaliação de Web Site (primeira etapa) a uma avaliação do Software por elas utilizados para fazer a certificação.
