Resumo: In this article we present the notion of critical interculturality by the author Catherine Walsh, considering how important this notion is for the teacher of non-confessional, non-proselist Religious Education, based on Sciences of Religion. Namely, taking into account that the term interculturality appears in the National Common Curriculum Base for Religious Education, as well as in the Reference Curriculum for Religious Education of the State of Minas Gerais, and in the Curriculum Guidelines for the Degree in Religious Sciences - core area of Religious Education -, this article presents, in addition to these documents, Catherine Walsh's notion of critical interculturality. This is because Walsh's notion makes it possible to problematize the very notion of interculturality, as well as opening up a powerful possibility on different religions, work that should decisively for work collaborate in the fight against religious discrimination, violence, prejudice, racism, and invisibilization in the world. inside schools.

Designadamente, levando em consideração que o termo interculturalidade aparece na Base Nacional Comum Curricular de Ensino Religioso, bem como no Currículo Referência de Ensino Religioso do Estado de Minas Gerais, e nas Diretrizes Curriculares para a Licenciatura em Ciências da Religião - área base do Ensino Religioso-, este artigo apresenta, além desses documentos, a noção de interculturalidade crítica de Catherine Walsh. Isso porque, a noção de Walsh possibilita a problematização da própria noção de interculturalidade, bem como abre uma potente possibilidade para o trabalho sobre as diversas religiões, trabalho que deve colaborar decisivamente no combate àdiscriminação religiosa, violências, preconceitos, racismo, e invisibilizações no interior das escolas.En este artículo presentamos la noción de interculturalidad crítica de la autora Catherine Walsh, considerando cuán importante es esta noción para el docente de Ensino Religioso no confesional, no proselitista, basada en Ciencias de la Religión. Es decir, teniendo en cuenta que el término interculturalidad aparece en la Base Curricular Común Nacional de Ensino Religioso, así como en el Currículo de Referencia para lo Ensino Religioso del Estado de Minas Gerais, y en las Directrices Curriculares de la Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Religión – base de la área de Ensino Religioso -, este artículo presenta, además de estos documentos, la noción de interculturalidad crítica de Catherine Walsh.
