Resumo: This article seeks to analyze the incidence of Burnout syndrome in working women in Brazil during the COVID pandemic19. It is intended to find answers to the following research problems: How is the COVID 19 pandemic related to the Burnout syndrome in working women? What legal protection exists in Brazil for working women suffering from Burnout syndrome? And what are the lessons that can be drawn from the pandemic context for coping with and preventing the syndrome? To answer these problems, the research is developed through the deductive hypothetical method, through bibliographic and data research, to propose alternatives to face the theme. The objective is to present an analysis of gender inequalities in the Brazilian labor market, demonstrating its relationship with the Burnout syndrome, and investigating the existing legal protection for women affected by the syndrome and the public policies that can be developed to address the problematic. The study demonstrates the importance of preventive public policies, by encouraging companies to adapt their behavior, and the need for public policies to inform about the problem.
