Resumo: Objective: to describe the sociodemographic profile, life habits, academic life and issues related to the global health crisis of nursing students at a federal university during the covid-19 pandemic. Population consisted of 187 nursing students, sample calculation was performed. Form applied remotely. Descriptive data analysis was performed. Research approved by the ethics committee under opinion 4,249,624. Results: most are under 23 years old; female; white; single; they have no children; they don't work; do not have the habit of smoking, drinking, consuming drugs or performing physical activity; attend the sixth period; use about two online resources and have internet with good quality. Most college students rated their mental health as regular; regarding covid-19, they predominantly didn’t care for someone infected, but reported having dealt with the death of a close person due to the disease; they didn’t carry out professional activity on the frontline of combating the pandemic; stated that they felt sufficiently informed about the disease. Conclusion: the necessary changes in habits and lifestyle and social isolation brought several consequences and adversities which could be harmful to the health of academics. Thus, further studies are suggested to understand the changes that occurred during this period, to subsidize measures to maintain the well-being of students.

Método: estudio epidemiológico descriptivo de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por 187 estudiantes de enfermería, se realizó el cálculo de la muestra. Formulario aplicado disponible de forma remota. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo de los datos. Investigación aprobada por el comité de ética bajo el dictamen 4.249.624. Resultados: la mayoría tiene menos de 23 años; femenino; blanco; único; no tienen hijos; no funcionan; no tener el hábito de fumar, beber, consumir drogas o realizar actividad física; asistir al sexto período; use alrededor de dos recursos en línea y proporcione Internet con buena calidad. La mayoría de los universitarios clasificaron su salud mental como regular; respecto al covid-19, predominantemente no atendieron a algún contagiado, pero reportaron haber lidiado con la muerte de un allegado a causa de la enfermedad; no desarrollaron actividad profesional en la primera línea de combate a la pandemia; manifestaron sentirse suficientemente informados sobre la enfermedad. Conclusión: los cambios necesarios en los hábitos y estilos de vida y el aislamiento social trajeron diversas consecuencias y adversidades que pueden ser perjudiciales para la salud de los académicos. Por lo tanto, se sugieren más estudios para comprender los cambios que ocurrieron durante este período, para subsidiar medidas para mantener el bienestar de los estudiantes.Objetivo: descrever o perfil sociodemográfico, hábitos de vida, vida acadêmica e questões relacionadas à crise de saúde global dos estudantes de enfermagem de universidade federal, durante a pandemia de covid-19. Método: estudo epidemiológico descritivo de desenho seccional. População foi composta por 187 acadêmicos de enfermagem, foi realizado cálculo amostral. Aplicado formulário disponibilizado de forma remota. Foi realizada análise descritiva dos dados. Pesquisa aprovada pelo comité de ética sob o parecer 4.249.624. Resultados: a maioria possui menos de 23 anos; do sexo feminino; brancas; solteiras; não possuem filhos; não trabalham; não possuem o hábito de fumar, beber, consumir drogas ou realizar atividade física; cursam o sexto período; utilizam cerca de dois recursos online e disponibilizam de internet com qualidade boa. A maior parte dos universitários classificou sua saúde mental como regular; em relação à covid-19, predominantemente não cuidaram de alguém infectado, porém relataram ter lidado com o falecimento de pessoa próxima em função da doença; não exerciam atividade profissional na linha de frente do combate à pandemia; afirmaram se sentir suficientemente informados sobre a doença. Conclusão: as mudanças nos hábitos e estilo de vida necessárias e o isolamento social trouxeram diversas consequências e adversidades as quais poderiam ser prejudiciais à saúde dos acadêmicos.
