O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar as relações históricas entre a Amazônia e o Caribe tendo como ponto de análise o processo migratório de trabalhadores Brasil. O fluxo imigratório dos haitianos para a região amazônica foi iniciado em 2010 após a ocorrência de um terremoto que dizimou mais de duzentas mil pessoas. Neste trabalho pretendemos analisar os aspectos que apontam para as trajetórias migratórias que unem o Caribe e a grande Amazônia, que são pouco recorrentes na historiografia.Palavras-chave: Brasil. HaitianosResumenEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar las relaciones históricas entre la Amazonia y el Caribe como punto de analise del processo migratório de trabajadores barbadianos en el siglo XX y más recentemente de trabajadores haitianos para la región norte de Brasil. El flujo imigratório de los haitianos para la región amazônica empezó en 2010 despues del terremoto que vitimo más de duscientas mil personas. En este trabajo pretendemos analizar los aspectos que apuntan para las trajetórias migratórias que unem el Caribe y la gran Amazonia, que son poco recorrientes en la historiografia.Palabras-clave: Brasil. Haitianos AbstractThe present work has as objective to present the historical relations between the Amazon and the Caribbean having as a point of analysis the migratory process of Brazil workers. The immigration flow of Haitians to the Amazon region was initiated in 2010 following the occurrence of an earthquake that decimated more than two hundred thousand people. In this work we intend to analyze the aspects that point to the migratory trajectories that unite the Caribbean and the great Amazon, that are little recurrent in the historiography.Keywords: Brazil.
