This study sought to understand the definition of health by the World Health Organization and its correlation with the mental illnesses of workers in the Unified Health System - (SUS) and the Unified Social Assistance System - (SUAS), given their institutional vulnerabilities. and labor. The objective was to identify the meanings of biopsychosocial well-being from an institutional perspective as well as its consequences for people, based on the Safe Work Program of the Labor Court in the biennium 2020/2022 and World Mental Health: Transforming mental health for all” from the World Health Organization, launched in 2022. The methodology used was based on a bibliographical review on the subject of public policies of the SUS and SUAS, in order to provide examples of these policies and their ability to help their users. Finally, it was highlighted, above all, the need for these professionals to listen and participate in the development of health-promoting policies in the workplace so that they can be more assertive.
