FOUCAULDIANS SPECULATIONS ON A NEOSCIENCE UBUESQUE: ESPECULAÇÕES FOUCAULTIANAS SOBRE UMA NEOCIÊNCIA UBUESCA

Resumo: This paper presents outlines of a Dissertation that investigates discourse practices in science regions. Such practices, under the guise of imaginary solutions, allow thinking of an alleged science that deals with both grotesque imagination and humour, life and death, and symbolic truths. Such elements are intertwined with the ubuesque power, outlined by Michel Foucault in his work Abnormal (1974-1975). This study insinuates approaches with Alfred Jarry’s literature, especially with his creations Pa Ubu and ‘Pataphysics – the science of imaginary solutions. As methodological procedure, we opted for the notions of archive and archiving inspired by the investigative modes of Foucault and Aquino. Of this study we highlight that the descriptions around the anomalies mentioned throughout the lessons of Foucault’s mentioned work are compatible with an ubuesque imagination, as well as the ‘Pataphysics gains strength as a potent analytical tool to examine ubuesque imaginary solutions in discourse practices in science regions.

Tales elementos entrelazan el poder ubuesco, esbozado por Michel Foucault en la obra Os Abnormals (1974-1975). El estudio sugiere aproximaciones con la literatura de Alfred Jarry, especialmente en sus criaciones Pai Ubu y ‘Patafísica – la ciencia de las soluciones imaginarias. Como procedimiento metodológico se optó por las nociones de archivo y archivística inspiradas en los modos investigativos de Foucault y Aquino. Del estudio realizado destacamos que las descripciones sobre las anomalias mencionadas a lo largo de las clases que componen la obra foucaultiana referenciada son descripciones compatibles con una imaginación ubuesca, así como ‘la patafísica logra fuerza como una potente herramienta analítica para examinar soluciones imaginarias ubuescas en las prácticas discursivas en una región de la ciencia.O presente artigo resulta de um estudo que tem como objetivo caracterizar uma neociência ubuesca. Para tanto, se vale de investigar práticas discursivas situadas em regiões de cientificidade que, diante de soluções imaginárias, permitem pensar numa neociência que agrega a imaginação e o humor ubuescos, se ocupa com a vida e a morte e produz verdades que constituem modos de vida. Tais elementos se entrecruzam ao poder ubuesco, referido por Michel Foucault na obra Os Anormais (1974-1975). Para a análise dessas práticas adotamos como procedimento metodológico a arquivização, conforme Julio Groppa Aquino.
