Sound and Movement in Performance Studies and Practices: propositions for an atavistic body

Resumo: | In this paper we present experience reports in Teaching/Learning Performance Art processes, comparing reports of expressive sound and movement practices, carried out in creative processes (hybrid practices – interarts) arranged by professors who work in visual arts courses, in renowned Brazilian public universities. Our main goal is to corroborate with lecturing in the field of visual arts, suggesting some approaches that take the body as a basis, in the work of configuring images, sounds, movements and their records, activating the atavistic body qualities that inhabits us. Concept that can help us to appoint the “wild” atavisms powerfully established that were dormant in the colonized and westernized corporealities of our contemporaneity. |

Concept that can help us to appoint the “wild” atavisms powerfully established that were dormant in the colonized and westernized corporealities of our contemporaneity.Presentamos relatos de experiencia en procesos de Enseñanza/Aprendizaje de Performance Art, comparando con relatos de prácticas expresivas de sonido y movimiento, llevados a cabo en procesos creativos (prácticas híbridas – interartes) operados por profesores universitarios que trabajan en cursos de artes visuales, en diferentes Universidades públicas brasileñas: nuestro principal objetivo es corroborar la enseñanza en el campo de las artes visuales, sugiriendo algunos enfoques que toman como base el cuerpo, en el trabajo de configuración de imágenes, sonidos, movimientos y sus registros, activando las cualidades atávicas del cuerpo em que habitamos. Concepto que puede ayudarnos a designar las poderosas instalaciones de atavismos “salvajes” que estaban letentes en las corporealidades colonizadas y occidentalizadas de nuestra contemporaneidad.Apresentamos relatos de experiência em processos de ensino-aprendizagem da arte da performance, cotejando relatos de práticas expressivas de som e movimento, realizadas em processos de criação (práticas híbridas – interartes) operados por professores universitários que atuam em cursos de artes visuaisem distintas universidades públicas brasileiras. Nosso objetivo principal é corroborar com a docência no campo das artes visuais, sugerindo algumas abordagens que tomem o corpo como fundamento, no trabalho da configuração de imagens, sons, movimentos e seus registros, ativando qualidades do corpo atávico que nos habita.
