Resumo: There are several possible interlacings between contemporary technologies and art education, but it is important that the pedagogical project of the schools that launch this experiment seeks to constantlyencourage the appropriation of technologies for purposes of artistic experimentation by their team. In order to contribute to this pedagogical perspective, we developed a open source software with free distribution for video editing, which enables us to reconsider the practice and teaching methods for audiovisual editing. This article presents the general concepts that permeate the contemporary technology here called Uchronic Mountage and some possibilities in the audiovisual arts education.

Buscando contribuir com essa perspectiva pedagógica, desenvolvemos um software de código aberto e distribuição gratuita para a edição de vídeo, o qual possibilita reinventar a prática e as formas de ensino da montagem audiovisual.
