Resumo: The article deals with the work Sob céus estranhos, by Ilse Losa. The focus of the analysis is on the drama of refugees from the author's real experience as a German exile naturalized in Portuguese lands, a drama configured through the literary form, representing not only a personal catastrophe, but also a collective one.
