Resumo: | This article aims to carry out a reading of the short story entitled Lilith, from the work 71 stories by Primo Levi (2005), in order to analyze aspects of the narrative. The main topics of this study are: suffering in Nazi concentration camps, survival pacts, testimonial accounts, oppression, violence, resistance, religiosity, ancient Hebrew storytelling, the creation myth and the presence of fear that has permeated the popular imagination for centuries, like the devil, personified in the female figure, among other investigations. Furthermore, it seeks to analyze the chapters Noite de Valpurgis and Fogo-Fátuo, by Fausto de Goethe (1815), in order to establish possible dialogues between these narratives. |
