FULL-TIME SCHOOLS AND THEIR ROLE IN LEISURE EDUCATION

Resumo: | The National Education Plan (PNE) determines that by the year 2024, at least 50% of Brazilian schools must work full time. In order to meet the requirements of said plan, the number of so-called Full Time Schools (FTS) has grown. A FTS, when well planned, can contribute to leisure education, since, by extending the journey, it offers more time and space for initiation in the various cultural contents of leisure with the students. Thus, the objective of the present study was to discuss the relationship between the TSIs and the leisure, more specifically between the TSE and Leisure Education. |

En la búsqueda por atender a lo determinado en dicho plan, ha crecido el número de las llamadas Escuelas de Tiempo Integral (ETIs). Una ETI, cuando bien planificada, puede contribuir en la educación para el ocio, ya que, al extender la jornada, ofrece más tiempo y espacios para la iniciación en los diversos contenidos culturales del ocio junto a los alumnos. Así, el objetivo del presente ensayo fue discutir la relación entre las ETIs y el ocio, más específicamente entre las ETIs y la Educación para el Ocio.O Plano Nacional de Educação (PNE) determina que até o ano de 2024, pelo menos 50% das escolas brasileiras devem atuar em jornada completa. Na busca de atender o determinado no referido plano, têm crescido o número das chamadas Escolas de Tempo Integral (ETIs). Uma ETI, quando bem planejada, pode contribuir na educação para o lazer, uma vez que, ao estender a jornada, oferece mais tempo e espaços para a iniciação nos diversos conteúdos culturais do lazer junto aos alunos.
