LEISURE AS AN IGNITION FOR AMATEUR FILMMAKING IN AMAZONAS

Resumo: This paper relates the production of amateur films in Amazonas with the sociology of leisure, based on Norbert Elias. It is supported by cinema theorists for thematic contextualization. Bibliographic research is combined with viewing sites and movies, and participant observation. It can be seen, among the cases mentioned, that the sociocultural and communicational processes of audiovisual production are stimulated by the search for pleasurable tensions, but they can give space to other interests, increasing the degree of routines and triggering the appropriation of free time, with reference the other and self-promotion, not setting up leisure.

Se apoya en teóricos del cine y de la comunicación para contextualizar la temática. La metodología combina la investigación bibliográfica con la visualización de sitios y películas, y la observación participante. Se percibe, entre los casos señalados, que los procesos socioculturales y comunicacionales de la producción audiovisual son impulsados por la búsqueda de tensiones placenteras claras de obligatoriedad, pero que pueden ceder espacio a otros intereses, elevando el grado de rutinas y desencadenando la apropiación del tiempo libre, teniendo como referencia el otro y la autopromoción, no configurando ocio.Neste artigo relaciona-se a produção de filmes amadores no Amazonas com a sociologia do lazer, a partir de pressupostos suscitados pelo sociólogo Norbert Elias. Também apoia-se em teóricos do cinema e da comunicação para uma breve contextualização sobre redes e processos cinematográficos. A metodologia alia pesquisa bibliográfica, visualização de sites e filmes online e a observação participante.
