Dissertation clipping aimed to investigate the knowledge of workers in clinical analysis laboratories about biosafety and to create a website to socialize information and contribute to health education. The research is of the cross-sectional and applied type and was carried out between the second half of 2015 and the first semester of 2016. Data were collected through a questionnaire with 47 workers from five private clinical laboratories, three in hospitable and two out hospitable, located in the north and northwest regions of Rio Grande do Sul and analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, according to Murray Spiegel, among others. The results demonstrated weaknesses in knowledge about good laboratory practice and exposure to occupational hazards, especially with regard to classification and prevention. In view of the results, a website was designed to contribute to health education, which was evaluated positively by the workers, facilitating access, updating information and as a tool that can contribute to the prevention of occupational diseases and to education in health in biosafety. It can be inferred that health education has the potential to promote the safety culture of both the service user and the worker, and strategies that promote it add value to life.___Trata-se de um recorte de dissertação que teve como objetivo investigar os conhecimentos dos trabalhadores de laboratórios de análises clínicas acerca da biossegurança e criar um websitepara socializar informações e contribuir para a educação em saúde. A pesquisa é do tipo transversal e aplicada e foi realizada entre o segundo semestre de 2015 e primeiro semestre de 2016. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário junto a 47 trabalhadores de cinco laboratórios clínicos privados, sendo três intra-hospitalares e dois extra-hospitalares, situados nas regiões norte e noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul e analisados por meio de estatística descritiva, segundo Murray Spiegel, entre outros. Os resultados demonstraram fragilidades no conhecimento sobre boas práticas em laboratórios e relativos à exposição a riscos ocupacionais, especialmente no que diz respeito à classificação e à prevenção. Diante dos resultados um website foi elaborado no intuito de contribuir para a educação em saúde, que foi avaliado positivamente pelos trabalhadores, pela facilidade no acesso, atualização das informações e como uma ferramenta que pode contribuir para a prevenção de agravos ocupacionais e para a educação em saúde em biossegurança. Pode-se inferir que a educação em saúde tem potencial para promover a cultura de segurança tanto do usuário do serviço quanto do trabalhador, e, estratégias que a promovam, agregam valor à vida.
