Work and professional education: reflections around the course in agriculture of the Federal Institute of Pará - campus Marabá Rural

Resumo: This article aims to analyze the relationship between work and professional education in the countryside, in order to understand how the technical and professional training of the Federal Institute of Pará - Marabá Rural has contributed to the Field of Education. The technical course on agriculture and livestock integrated into the secondary education offered in partnership with the social and union movement through the National Program for Education in Agrarian Reform (PRONERA) in the period from 2009 to 2013 is taken as a reference. Part of this approach integrates the master's research professional, whose methodology was referenced in historical-dialectical materialism, including bibliographical and documentary research, as a procedure. The research results pointed out the commitment of the training, materialized from the perspective of the Field of Education, with the project of development of peasant family farming in the region. The research also pointed out a new way of producing knowledge, grounding the rural school in the construction of the new peasant productive matrix, placing the conception of professional education on the level of human formation and not only of instruction.

Toma-se como referência o curso técnico em agropecuária integrado ao ensino médio ofertado em parceria com o movimento social e sindical através do Programa Nacional de Educação na Reforma Agrária (PRONERA) no período de 2009 a 2013. Parte desta abordagem integra a pesquisa de mestrado profissional, cuja metodologia referenciou-se no materialismo histórico-dialético, incluindo também a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, como procedimento. Os resultados da investigação apontaram o comprometimento da formação, materializado sob a perspectiva da Educação do Campo, com o projeto de desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar camponesa na região.
