Resumo: | The objective of the study was to analyze the trajectories of health workers with a long-term employment relationship in a public hospital. This is a unique holistic case study, with a qualitative approach. Open interviews were conducted (audio-recorded and transcribed) with twelve health workers who worked between 31 and 35 years in the Unified Health System. In the trajectories of workers at work, links to work assume different meanings: from contractual to services and teams, through links to the recommended health models. In the discursive analyses, workers understand the use of skills for work through the recognition of their tacit knowledge. The long time of working relationship produces an action in collective health nourished by the relationships established between work, personal life and collective life at work. Age management practices based on Permanent Education in Health value subjectivities and collective constructions in work histories in the Unified Health System. |
