Resumo: | Engineering education has been widely rethought, discussed and modified, having as one of its main focuses the development of active, cooperative and project-based learning. This paper discusses alternative learning methodologies, based on the pedagogical implementation of digital technologies in Engineering education, aiming to make both students and teachers into common and collaborative agents in the search and building of knowledge. The Unitary Operations Laboratory, from the Undergraduate course in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, has been developing some changes to transform the teaching-learning process of its students. Such modifications are based on inclusion projects of cyborg tools, which increases the importance and interest in the product development, as well as intensifies other forms of access to information besides those presented by the teacher. |

Este trabajo propone discutir metodologías alternativas de aprendizaje, basadas en la implementación pedagógica de las tecnologías digitales de enseñanza en Ingeniería para transformar al estudiante y al maestro en agentes comunes y colaborativos en la búsqueda y la construcción del conocimiento. El Laboratorio de Operaciones Unitarias del curso de pregrado en Ingeniería Química de la Universidad Federal de Minas Gerais, ha estado desarrollando una serie de cambios para transformar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de sus estudiantes. Estas modificaciones se fundamentan en proyectos para la inclusión de herramientas cyborg, lo que aumenta, así, la importancia y el interés en el desarrollo del producto, intensificando también otras formas de acceso a la información, además de las presentadas por el profesor.O ensino de Engenharia tem sido bastante repensado, discutido e modificado, tendo como um dos principais focos o desenvolvimento de aprendizagens ativas, cooperativas e baseadas em desenvolvimento de projetos. Este trabalho propõe discutir metodologias alternativas de aprendizado, fundamentadas na implementação pedagógica das tecnologias digitais no ensino de Engenharia, visando a tornar estudante e professor agentes comuns e colaborativos na busca e na construção do conhecimento. O Laboratório de Operações Unitárias, do curso de graduação em Engenharia Química da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, vem desenvolvendo uma série de mudanças para transformar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de seus estudantes.
