Training actions in the university context: knowledge and teaching identity

Resumo: This article explores discussions related to an investigation that had as its theme the training processes of university teachers. The research was guided by the following questions: What knowledge is needed for the university teaching practice? How did the training actions contribute to the professional development of teachers? We aimed to investigate the contribution of the course offered by the Division of Teacher Training of the federal institution researched and the changes occurred in the conceptions of pedagogical practice of university teachers. We performed a qualitative analysis of data, based on bibliographic research, as well as questionnaires and interviews with teachers at a public university in the Triângulo Mineiro region. The analysis showed transformations in the conceptions of these teachers regarding the aspects of their didactic-pedagogical actions, among which we highlight the construction and reconstruction of knowledge and professional teaching identity

A pesquisa foi orientada pelos seguintes questionamentos: quais saberes são necessários para a prática do docente universitário? De que forma as ações formativas contribuíram para o desenvolvimento profissional dos professores? Objetivamos investigar a contribuição do curso oferecido pela Divisão de Formação Docente da instituição federal pesquisada e as mudanças ocorridas nas concepções de prática pedagógica dos docentes universitários. Realizamos uma análise qualitativa de dados, a partir da pesquisa bibliográfica, além de questionários e entrevistas junto aos professores de uma universidade pública da região do Triângulo Mineiro.
