Early career teachers in higher education: narratives on teaching in the Physical Education course

Resumo: The early career for a professor in a higher education institution in undergraduate courses in Physical Education can reveal singularities that can be studied. Considering issues related to training, teaching, knowledge and the production of knowledge in the field of Physical Education, this article aims to know and problematize some representations that involve the conception of teaching that guides the work of this teacher, the demands and complexities of higher education, especially in the area. Through an interview script with life history and professional history, and later using the narrative interview, we listen to stories from 12 professors from higher education institutions of the metropolitan region of the municipality of Vitória-ES. We can perceive important stories about teaching, its daily practice, its values, and its feelings. Understanding teaching as a process that requires specific knowledge is an important action to recognize its complexity.

Al considerar cuestiones relacionadas a la formación, la enseñanza, el saber y la producción de conocimiento en el campo de la Educación Física, este artículo tiene como objetivo conocer y problematizar algunas representaciones que involucran la concepción de la enseñanza que orienta el trabajo de este docente, las exigencias y complejidades de la educación superior, especialmente en el área de Educación Física. A través de un guión de entrevista con las historias de vida y historias profesionales, posteriormente, mediante la entrevista narrativa, escuchamos relatos de 12 profesores de instituciones de educación superior de la región metropolitana de la ciudad de Vitória-ES y percibimos relatos importantes sobre la docencia, su práctica diaria, sus valores y sus sentimientos. Entender la enseñanza como un proceso que requiere conocimientos específicos es una acción importante para reconocer su complejidad.O início de carreira para um professor em uma instituição de ensino superior nos cursos de graduação em Educação Física pode revelar singularidades passíveis de estudo. Ao considerar questões relativas à formação, ao ensino, aos saberes e à produção de conhecimento no campo da Educação Física, este artigo tem como objetivo conhecer e problematizar algumas representações que envolvem a concepção de docência que pauta o trabalho desse professor, as demandas e as complexidades do ensino superior, em especial, na área de Educação Física. Por meio de um roteiro de entrevistas com histórias de vida e histórias profissionais e, posteriormente, a entrevista narrativa, escutamos relatos de 12 professores de instituições de ensino superior da região metropolitana do município de Vitória-ES e percebemos histórias importantes sobre a docência, sobre sua prática cotidiana e sobre seus valores e sentimentos.
