Resumo: | This paper presents a discussion of a teaching practice supported by technology, applied in the Differential and Integral Calculus course - Module II in the Mathematics Teaching and Industrial Engineering programs at the State University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Learning objects developed in GeoGebra 3D were used to teach partial derivatives of functions of two variables to contribute to the debate on the use of technology in calculus teaching. Structured interview was applied and results were processed using research methodology procedures to construct the narratives of a university professor. Those results, presented herein, highlighted the techniques employed, described the relationship the professor established with technology when performing activities at the university and suggested possibilities that could be discussed in debates on ICT usage in higher education. |
