“Closed schools, what now?”: a limit-situation, a viable unprecedented and freirian utopia in times of pandemic

The interruption of classes due to the covid-19 pandemic promoted an important dialogue about education rights in Brazil. In view of the relevance of this theme and considering the university’s role on this discussion, we proposed a project that aims to identify and spread through short videos different people impressions about education rights in the pandemic context. Being that the case, this paper aims to share an aspect of this project: five to eleven years old children’s reports that offer an important contribution to build an “untested feasibility” in order to confront the limit-situation that education is during the pandemic context. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the usage of these videos as a didactic material in classes of Intercultural Training for Indigenous Educators degree from Education College of Federal University of Minas Gerais.
