Proposal for the systematization of the assistance of nursing in ICU: the covered way

Resumo: The Systematization of the Assistance of Nursing (SAN) is a form to organize the actions of the professional of Nursing, being promoted the briefing of problems and offering conditions so that the professional can prioritize and plan the Nursing care. This study describes the accomplishment of a proposal of a Nursing care methodology implantation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a General Hospital in Santa Catarina - Brazil. The objective was to teach the nurses of the ICU to SAN, based on the Theory of the Human Basic Necessities beings of Wanda de Aguiar Horta, in their work process. The study was conducted through five group meetings. The proposal was presented, it was argued and the theory was demonstrated. The process of systematization in other health institutions was also carried through. It was argues a form to use the Nursing Process in accordance with the UTI reality of the related hospital. The nursing assessment, care plan and evaluation phases were applied in practice. It was concluded through the meetings with the nursing participants; from daily observation of the professionals that positive results were obtained. The nurses saide that they had understood the value of the nursing care documentation and its importance to promote communication between the professionals.

Este estudio describe la realización de una propuesta de implantación de metodología de asistencia de Enfermería en la Unidad de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) de un hospital en Santa Catarina. El objetivo fue instrumentar las enfermeras de la UTI para utilización da SAE, basado en la teoría de las Necesidades Humanas Básicas de Wanda de Aguiar Horta, el su proceso de trabajo. El estudios fue concretizado por medio de cinco encuentros en grupo, donde la propuesta fue presentada, la teoría discutida y demostrado como es realizado el proceso de sistematización en otras instituciones. Se discutió una forma de operacionalizar la SAE de acuerdo a la realidad de la Unidad de Terapia Intensiva del referido hospital. Se aplicó, en la práctica, el histórico, la prescripción y evolución de enfermería. Por medio de los encuentros, de la observación realizada en el cotidiano de los profesionales y de las respuestas obtenidas de los participantes y para la institución, una vez que ellas comprendieron la importancia y el valor de los registros de enfermería para el cuidado a los pacientes y para la comunicación entre los profesiones.A Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem (SAE) é uma forma de organizar as ações do profissional de enfermagem, promovendo a elucidação de problemas e oferecendo condições para que ele possa priorizar e planejar o cuidado de enfermagem. Neste estudo, descreve-se a realização de uma proposta de implantação de metodologia da assistência de enfermagem na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva de um Hospital Geral em Santa Catarina. O objetivo foi instrumentalizar as enfermeiras da UTI para utilização da SAE, fundamentada na Teoria das Necessidades Humanas Básicas, de Wanda de Aguiar Horta, em seu processo de trabalho. O estudo foi concretizado por meio de cinco encontros em grupo, nos quais foi apresentada a proposta, discutida a teoria e demonstrado como é realizado o processo de sistematização em outras instituições. Discutiu-se uma forma de operacionalizar a SAE de acordo com a realidade da UTI do referido hospital. Aplicou-se, na prática, o histórico, a prescrição e a evolução de enfermagem.
