Resumo: The purpose of this study is to discuss qualitative research which has as its reference the phenomenological approach. Taking the analysis of the placed phenomenon as one of the modes of this kind of investigation, it discusses the fundamental moments of the suggested route for the researcher, i.e., the discription, reducion and phenomenological understanding. It also comments some basic resources to be used in building research which seeks to describe humam phenomena as living experience throgh the comprehensive methodology of phenomenology.

Tomando el analisis del fenómeno situado como una de las modalidades de este tipo de investigación, discute los momentos fundamentales de la trajectoria propuesta al pesquisador, o sea, la descripción, la reducción y la comprensión fenomenológica. Comenta aún algunos recursos básicos a seren utilizados en la construcción de la pesquisa que busca en la metodología comprensiva de la fenomenología describir los fenómenos humanos en lo que se refiere a experiencia vivida.A proposta deste estudo é discorrer sobre a pesquisa qualitativa, que tem como referencial a abordagem fenomenológica. Tomando a análise do fenômeno situado como uma das modalidades desse tipo de investigação, discutem-se os momentos fundamentais da trajetória proposta ao pesquisador, ou seja, a descrição, a redução e a compreensão fenomenológica.
