Resumo: This paper results from considerations made by postgraduate students who share their knowledge in conducting scientific research. It aims to comment on issues that researchers should address while conducting a serious qualitative, scientific and ethical research. The chain of thoughts that substantiates the research requires pertinence and deep inquiries to achieve theoretical and methodological coherence during the process. The researcher needs to comprehend the reality in order to select the best means, techniques, subjects and schedule. There are many ways with different possibilities and limits while trying to explore, describe and analyze the subjective aspects involved in a qualitative research. This article highlights some guidelines that should be considered while designing a qualitative research, in order to demonstrate its importance to the construction of knowledge

Tiene como objetivo efectuar consideraciones sobre los puntos que el investigador debe observar en la conducción de una investigación cualitativa considerando el rigor científico y ético. La pertinencia de la corriente de pensamiento para basar el estudio exige estudios profundos para construir una coherencia teórico-metodológica en el proceso de investigación. La lectura sobre la realidad obliga al investigador a elegir la forma, técnica, sujetos y tiempo adecuados. Los distintos caminos tienen potencialidades y límites cuando se busca explorar, describir y analizar la complicada red de subjetividades que presupone la investigación cualitativa. El artículo destaca algunos cimientos que deben ser observados en la elaboración de la investigación cualitativa con miras a contribuir al reconocimiento de su importancia en la construcción del conocimientoEste artigo é fruto de reflexão de alunos da pós-graduação que compartilham o aprendizado da condução de uma investigação científica. O objetivo é tecer considerações sobre pontos sobre os quais o pesquisador deve atentar-se na condução de uma investigação qualitativa, com vista ao rigor científico e ético. A pertinência da corrente de pensamento para embasamento do estudo exige estudos aprofundados para construir coerência teórico-metodológica no processo de investigação. A leitura sobre a realidade exige do pesquisador a escolha do modo, da técnica, dos sujeitos e do tempo apropriado. Diferentes caminhos possuem potencialidades e limites na busca do explorar, descrever e analisar a intrincada rede de subjetividades que pressupõe a investigação qualitativa.
