Systematic organization of nursing care at an intensive care unit: the view of the nurses

Resumo: The objective of this work was to discover the nurses' view of the implementation of the program for the systematic organization of nursing in the ICU of a philanthropic hospital in Belo Horizonte. Data was collected through interviews with the nurses and was worked quantitatively and qualitatively. All the nurses had a positive view of the program for the systematic organization of nursing and considered it as the "essence of nursing" and a way to assure professional autonomy. They think this methodology contributes towards quality in nursing care and allows for a better organization of the service, as well as making the profession more scientific.

They think this methodology contributes towards quality in nursing care and allows for a better organization of the service, as well as making the profession more scientific.El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar la percepción de las enfermeras respecto de la implantación de la Sistematización de la Asistencia de Enfermería (SAE) en el CTI de un Hospital Filantrópico de Belo Horizonte. La colecta de datos fue realizada por medio de entrevistas con las enfermeras del sector y los datos fueron analizados cuantitativa y cualitativamente. Todas las enfermeras tienen una visión positiva de la SAE considerándola como "esencia de enfermería" y como una forma de garantizar la autonomía profesional. Ellas consideran que dicha metodología contribuye a la calidad de la asistencia de enfermería y permite una mejor organización del servicio, además de brindar un carácter científico a la profesión.Esse trabalho teve como objetivo identificar a percepção das enfermeiras sobre a implantação da Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem (SAE) no CTI de um Hospital Filantrópico de Belo Horizonte. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de entrevistas com as enfermeiras do setor e os dados foram trabalhados quantitativa e qualitativamente. Todas as enfermeiras têm uma visão positiva da SAE, considerando-a como "essência da enfermagem" e como uma forma de garantir autonomia profissional.
