Resumo: This work describes the sustained teaching experience in the problematical pedagogic concept. Presents the historic aspects of the Nursing Especialization Course in Public Health implant in the UFMG Nursing School. Informs about the antecedents and the curricular model of the course, giving emphasis on the propose of program's conjecture ampliation and facilitates the access to nurses from the basic services of health. Gives attention to the descentralization modality of the course and to the teaching-learning's methodologies given. Shows the quantitative results of the students to 1988 until 1986. Concludes with a reaffirmation of the importancy of the course as a strategy to capacitate nurses to act in the Basis Services of Health.

Presenta los aspectos históricos de la implantación del Curso de Especialización de Enfermeria en Salud Pública en la Escuela de Enfermería de la Universidad Federal de Minas Gerais. Informa los antecedentes y el modelo curricular del curso, enfatizando el propósito de ampliación de la cobertura del curso y los mecanismos para facilitar el acceso de los enfermeros de los servicios ambulatoriales. Destaca la modalidad de descentralización del curso, informando las metodologias de enseñanza utilizadas en el desarrollo de la propuesta y los resultados obtenidos en el período de 1988 a 1996. Concluye sobre la importancia del curso como una estrategia de capacitación de los enfermeros de la Rede de Servícios Básicos de Salud.Descreve a experiência de ensino sustentada na concepção pedagógica problematizadora.
