Resumo: | In the contemporary political panorama, in which Brazilian democracy suffers constant sophist threats, especially through hate speech, disrespect for constitutional bases and the encouragement of violence and discrimination, the trajectory that Indigenous women in the Western Amazon need to outline in order to overcome the situation of statistical invisibility and political under-representation in which they find themselves. Making use of the dialectical-deductive method, bibliographical research and analysis of interviews and dialogues, this article aims to address the problems and reasons that originate and are consistent with the situation of political under-representation of indigenous women in the Western Amazon in order to propose possible solutions to shorten the path to the conquest of the equal exercise of democracy by these original citizens. For this, statistical data, literary works and theses written by jurists and anthropologists were analyzed, as well as works and interviews carried out by the professor of the Psychology course at the Campus de Cacoal of the Federal University of Rondônia, Professor Luciana Ribeiro Conz. Based on the analyses, the main agents (problems) that determine women's political participation were fixed, in addition, possible solutions to these representative impasses were listed, with the objective of mitigating the arduous journey of indigenous women towards isonomic political representation. |
