Resumo: The article discusses the importance of knowledge management, considered as a new resource in organizations and the influence of technology in the conquest and maintenance of markets. The study evaluates and comments the management process in organizations, its importance to and applications in the increase of the productivity and quality. The knowledge of the human resources is considered key to success.
