As pin-ups contemporâneas: um estudo sobre éthos em blogs com temática retrô

Resumo: In the light of French discourse analysis, in its dialogue with a theoretical framework linked, more specifically, to fashion, we analyze, in this paper, discursive productions from current blogs with retro themes created by Brazilian women, so as to find out the ethe built by those who call themselves “modern pin-ups” in the contemporary world. Examining the speeches conveyed by the blogs selected, we were able to glimpse points of contact and of distance in their ethotical constructions. In this way, if the reference to the retro universe is the point that links such women, each one pays homage to the past from a particular framework of experiences, projecting a singular image. The present study allowed us to verify the efficiency of the notion of ethos as an instrument of discursive analysis capable of unraveling the retro cultural universe imbricated in female bloggers’ sayings.

Por meio do exame dos discursos manifestados em seus blogs, conseguimos vislumbrar pontos de contato e de distanciamento entre as construções ethóticas que elas promovem. Assim, se a referência ao universo retrô é aquilo que as une, cada uma homenageia o passado a partir do bojo de suas vivências, projetando uma imagem singular.
