Avaliação da interface dos diferentes tipos de violência provocada pelo parceiro íntimo contra a mulher

Resumo: Goals: to evaluate violence interfaces against women caused by intimate partner, in a county of the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study of 470 women aged 18-83 years old, performed in 53 Basic Health Units (BHU) and five Basic Reference Units (UBRs) of Ribeirão das Neves, Minas Gerais. Quantitative data were stored in a database using SPSS software. For the presentation of the results of the study, we used simple and cross-frequency tables, chi-square test of homogeneity and correspondence analysis. Results: Among the 470 women interviewed, 255 reported to have suffered some kind of violence caused by their partner or former intimate partner. Among these women, 57 suffered the three types of violence (physical, sexual and psychological) concomitantly; 96 suffered psychological and physical violence; 14 were sexually abused and suffered psychological violence. Conclusions: the study showed a high prevalence of various types of violence against women and showed that rarely a woman suffers only one type of violence, which has not been perceived yet by a large part of the Brazilian population.

Métodos: Trata-se de estudo transversal de 470 mulheres com idade entre 18 a 83 anos, realizado em 53 Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) e cinco Unidades Básicas de Referência (UBRs) de Ribeirão das Neves, Minas Gerais. Os dados de natureza quantitativa foram armazenados em banco de dados, utilizando-se o software SPSS. Para apresentação dos resultados desse estudo foram utilizadas tabelas de frequência simples e cruzada, teste de Qui-quadrado de homogeneidade e análise de correspondência. Resultados: entre as 470 mulheres entrevistadas, 255 informaram ter sofrido algum tipo de violencia provocada por seu parceiro ou ex-parceiro íntimo. Entre estas mulheres, 57 sofreram os três tipos de violência (física, sexual e psicológica) concomitantemente; 96 sofreram violência psicológica e física; 14 foram abusadas sexualmente e sofreram violência psicológica.
