A abordagem adotada consistiu em compreender as perspectivas de inovação social de cada organização, investigando suas atividades, programas e ações. Para atingir este objetivo, utilizou-se o método de estudo de caso, com a finalidade de realizar uma análise descritiva comparativa entre as duas organizações. Os resultados indicam que o Impact Hub Berlin apresenta maior robustez e mecanismos de apoio à promoção de inovações sociais para seus membros, por meio de programas específicos com foco nos pilares que compõem o core business da organização. Em contrapartida, o Impact Hub Belo Horizonte concentra-se mais nas atividades fim do que nas atividades de intermediação e apoio aos membros no que se refere a inovações sociais, e o empreendedorismo social ou de impacto tem maior demanda do que as inovações. Ademais, verificou-se que o Impact Hub Berlin atua como intermediário, enquanto o Impact Hub Belo Horizonte desempenha um papel mais de apoio, com foco em organizações ou clientes externos. Observou-se também que, ambas organizações apresentaram um entendimento parcial do conceito e carecem de definições oficiais mais abrangentes para orientar suas ações de forma mais efetiva. Por fim, as recomendações apresentadas enfatizam a importância de uma estratégia de atuação mais clara e bem definida, que requer uma compreensão precisa do conceito de inovação social, assim como sua aplicação.The present dissertation aimed to analyze how two intermediary organizations belonging to a global network of impact entrepreneurs promote social innovation in distinct contexts. The approach adopted consisted of understanding the social innovation perspectives of each organization by investigating their activities, programs, and actions. To achieve this objective, the case study method was used, with the purpose of conducting a comparative descriptive analysis between the two organizations. The results indicate that Impact Hub Berlin presents greater robustness and support mechanisms for promoting social innovations for its members, through specific programs focused on the pillars that make up the organization's core business. On the other hand, Impact Hub Belo Horizonte focuses more on end activities than on intermediation and support activities for members regarding social innovations, and social or impact entrepreneurship is more in demand than innovations. Additionally, it was found that Impact Hub Berlin acts as an intermediary, while Impact Hub Belo Horizonte plays a more supportive role, focusing on external organizations or clients. It was also observed that both organizations presented a partial understanding of the concept and lacked more comprehensive official definitions to guide their actions more effectively.
