Gêneros e sexualidades nos currículos: invenções, resistências e produção de alegrias em um projeto de formação docente

The project systematized here consists of offering the optional discipline "Gender and sexuality in the curricula" for two consecutive semesters in the Pedagogy undergraduate course. The subject was also part of the Transversal Training in Gender and Sexuality - Queer/LGBTI Perspectives. The overall goal was to provide consistent training on issues of great social relevance such as gender and sexuality. Facing a scenario of persistent inequalities, the school is called to include such content in the basic education curricula. However, despite all the struggle of social movements and the complaints of researchers in the field, these themes are often neglected in school. This has become even more intense with the current anti-gender and sexuality offensive led by reactionary sectors of our society, especially those around the "Associação Escola Sem Partido" (School Without a Party Association). The planned format articulated teaching activities and also research systematization, and dissemination, in close articulation with post-graduate studies. The project was developed through the methodology of creating a digital portfolio, later shared on the teacher's blog. This methodological choice led to an intense reflective process about the activities carried out. As a result, the lessons learned produced joy and were meaningful and transformative.
