In this work, there are brief reflections on the clinical performance, according to the Gestalt Approach. To compose this work, a review and bibliographical analysis on the theme was carried out. Starting from a brief explanation about Gestalt therapy, as well as its philosophical, theoretical and technical foundation, the characterization of Man as a being of relation and its implications in psychotherapeutic practice were presented. Gestalt therapy seeks to integrate the sensory, affective, intellectual, social and spiritual dimensions of the human being through authentic contact with the world and with oneself. Considering the relational nature of the human being, the quality of relationships established with the environment is relevant to understanding human performance in and with the world. In this sense, the posture adopted by the Gestalt-therapist is of fundamental importance, since the relational mode presented may or may not represent an invitation to authentic dialogue. We sought to improve the knowledge about the Psychotherapy Meeting in Gestalt-therapy, without being prescriptive or normative.
