Resumo: The health crisis caused by covid-19 accentuated social inequality, already impacted by the reduction of jobs and the increase of informality. This scenario brings to light the urgency in the implementation of the basic citizenship income instituted by Law no. 10.835/2004, which has a universal, unconditional and autonomous character. Ensuring an income to the individual contributed to remove him from the condition of vulnerability and, in equal measure, also contributes to the protection of children and adolescents with regard to the exploitation of child labor. Even with a view to putting the protective web into effect, the United Nations General Assembly issued a resolution establishing that 2021 is the international year for the elimination of child labor. In this context, this research aims to analyze the impacts of the post-pandemic on combating and eradicating child labor in Brazil and the search for the achievement of goal 8.7 of the UN 2030 Agenda. To achieve the expected ends, the methodology used in the research will be documentary and bibliographic based on the deductive method.
