This article aims to discuss the Proposed amendment to the constitution ("PEC") 18, 2011, which deals with the work permit under the part-time from the age of 14, and the Draft of law ("PL") 187 2015 about the tax deduction and the PL 53, 2016, which aims to criminalize the exploitation of child labor. For this, it starts from the historical analysis, influence of the international organisms, Brazilian legislation and public documents. A bibliographical review was carried out as the main research procedure and also as a secondary instrument to answer whether the Draft Laws and the proposed Amendment to the Constitution, which seek to eradicate child labor, are either one-off measures or are they effective in solving the problem.
