Resumo: The new Authority Abuse Bill came into force. There was great trauma in receiving this bill because of serious legal and political facts that are face in Brazil. And Yet, it must be understood that the accountability of public officials is a necessary aspect of the rule of law, which is a concept of great historical and human value. However, it has been observed that the new Authority abuse bill ended up breaking previously well-defined limits, especially in face of crimes of malfeasance and arbitrary violence.

Houve grande trauma no recebimento dessa lei diante de graves fatos jurídicos e políticos que o Brasil está enfrentando. De qualquer maneira, deve-se compreender que a responsabilização de funcionários públicos é aspecto necessário ao Estado de Direito, conceito esse histórico e de grande valor humano.
