Resumo: | This article seeks to think about the concept of news and its understanding by users of applications managed by citizens, in order to discuss the extent to which the format of the contents brings collaborative Apps closer to the notions of news from traditional media, challenging the journalistic authority. We took the application Onde Tem Tiroteio as an empirical object and adopted the bibliographic review and direct observation inspired by virtual ethnography as methodology. The results demonstrate the predominance of the text over other formats, the use of a writing model similar to the lead and the understanding of news as “useful information”. |
