MOTIVATION AND ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS: STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OPINIONS

Resumo: One of the aspects analyzed by Sports Psychology is motivation. Of intrinsic or extrinsic origin, it indicates ways for the consolidation of learning environments in the sport that must attend, above all, the practitioners interests. Therefore, analyze and discuss it became pertinent. Through the qualitative research, whose data collection took place through the semistructured interview and the analysis by Content Analysis, we reflected about the motivation of artistic gymnastics practitioners and the opinion of their teachers about the reasons for adherence, permanence and goals with the practice. At the intersection between the testimonies of practitioners and teachers there is consonance in the intrinsic aspects, with emphasis on the technical and challenging characteristics of artistic gymnastics. The same does not occur in the extrinsic aspects. In fact, the students seem to have a broader intention to practice than their teachers, which seem to indicate the most bias relative to athlete training.

De origen intrínseco o extrínseca, indica caminos para la consolidación de ambientes de aprendizaje en deporte que debe atender, sobre todo, intereses del practicante. Luego, analizarla y discutirla se hizo pertinente. Por medio de la investigación cualitativa, cuya recolección de datos ocurrió por la entrevista semiestructurada y el análisis por el Análisis de Contenido, reflexionamos sobre la motivación de practicantes de gimnasia artística y la opinión de sus profesores sobre los motivos de adhesión, permanencia y objetivos con la participación la práctica. En el cruce entre los testimonios de las practicantes y profesores hay consonancia en los aspectos intrínsecos, con destaque para características técnicas y desafiantes de la gimnasia artística. Lo mismo no ocurre en los aspectos extrínsecos. De hecho, las alumnas practicantes parecen tener una intención de práctica más amplia que la enumerada por sus profesores, que parecen indicar el sesgo más relativo a la formación de atleta.Um dos aspectos analisados pela Psicologia do Esporte diz respeito à motivação. De origem intrínseca ou extrínseca, ela indica caminhos para a consolidação de ambientes de aprendizagem no esporte que deve atender, sobretudo, interesses do praticante. Logo, analisá-la e discuti-la tornou-se pertinente. Por meio da pesquisa qualitativa, cuja coleta de dados ocorreu pela entrevista semiestruturada e a análise pela Análise de Conteúdo, refletimos sobre a motivação de praticantes de ginástica artística e a opinião dos seus professores sobre os motivos de adesão, permanência e objetivos com a prática. No cruzamento entre os depoimentos das praticantes e professores há consonância nos aspetos intrínsecos, com destaque para características técnicas e desafiantes da ginástica artística. O mesmo não ocorre nos aspectos extrínsecos.
