THE TACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF SOCCER PLAYERS CONSIDERING THE LEARNING THROUGH TRADITIONAL TEACHING

Resumo: The study aimed to characterize the training method used by a coach and evaluate the procedural tactical knowledge (PTK) of soccer players considering category, practice time, and Subjetive Assessment of the Coach (SAC). One coach and 19 male soccer players participated in the study from U13 and U15 categories. The qualitative-quantitative study used semi-structured in-depth interviews, content analysis and comparison between groups (Student's T-test and one-way ANOVA). The PTK:SO test was applied, and the results showed the conduct of a training method with traditional characteristics and the PTK of the soccer players did not differ for categories, practice time and SAC, except for the largest amount of the tactical actions of attack compared to the defense for both categories. We conclude that the training method had traditional characteristics and the PTK classification of most soccer players was weak and regular.

We conclude that the training method had traditional characteristics and the PTK classification of most soccer players was weak and regular.La investigación tuvo como objetivo caracterizar el método de entrenamiento utilizado por un entrenador y evaluar el conocimiento táctico de procedimiento de los futbolistas considerando la categoría, el tiempo de práctica y la Evaluación Subjetiva del Entrenador (ESE). Participaron un entrenador y 19 futbolistas masculinos de las categorías Infantiles y Cadetes. El estudio cualitativo-cuantitativo utilizó entrevistas semiestructuradas en profundidad, análisis de contenido y comparación entre grupos (prueba t de Student y ANOVA de una vía). Si aplicó el TCTP:OD y los resultados mostraron la conducción de una metodología de entrenamiento con rasgos tradicionales y el CTP de los futebolistas no fue distinto para categorías, tiempo de práctica y la ESE, sí fue superior para las acciones tácticas del ataque frente las de defensa para ambas categorías. Se concluye que la metodología de entrenamiento tuvo rasgos tradicionales y la clasificación CTP de la mayoría de los futbolistas fue débil y regular.O estudo objetivou caracterizar o método de treinamento utilizado por um treinador e avaliar o conhecimento tático processual (CTP) de praticantes de futebol considerando a categoria, o tempo de prática junto ao treinador e a Avaliação Subjetiva do Treinador (AST). Participaram um treinador e 19 praticantes do sexo masculino das categorias Sub13 e Sub15. O estudo quali-quantitativo utilizou entrevista semiestruturada de aprofundamento, análise de conteúdo e comparação entre grupos (Teste T de student e ANOVA one way). Aplicou-se o TCTP:OE e os resultados evidenciaram a condução de um método de treinamento com características tradicionais e o CTP dos praticantes não se diferiu para categorias, tempo de prática e AST, apenas sendo superior para as ações táticas de ataque frente as de defesa para ambas as categorias.
