CRITICAL OPERATIONS BY PEOPLE USING INSTAGRAM®: A STUDY ON THE POSTS INDEXED BY #FECHAABOCA

Discourses about the body on Instagram® have been the subject of warnings in several academic studies, but situations in which people who use this social network produce their criticisms and warnings are also observed. Thus, the study aimed to understand the production of most posts indexed by #fechaaboca on Instagram® and the critical operations put into action. A qualitative research was carried out, using elements of the sociology of criticism as a reference, based on the production of 11 cases of interlocutors. We conclude that the exposition of struggles and/or suffering by the thin body is a relevant justification imperative for the constitution of the generality of the post, and that, in the case of criticism, this occurs in relation to situations of confrontation of judgments considered accusatory and destructive.
