THEMATIZING OLYMPIC GAMES AT SCHOOL: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT

Resumo: | The theme of the Olympic Games in the school environment can bring benefits to students, with the inclusion of attitudes, concepts and experiences through the Olympic movement and sports. The purpose of this report is to thematize the Olympic movement as a sporting, cultural, social and democratic manifestation in the school environment. It deals with an experience, developed through a project, in Physical Education classes, with two classes from the fourth year of elementary school in a municipal school located in the city of Limeira, state of São Paulo. Thirty classes were held with themes focused on Olympic modalities, covering cross-cutting themes (gender equality, justice, peace) and interdisciplinarity. It was concluded that the classes developed provided opportunities for students' learning and contributed to their integral development through emerging themes, pedagogical strategies (games and conversation circles) and assessments (questions and reports). This project influenced the routine of the school unit and motivated students in an atypical school year. With this report, it is intended to contribute to the pedagogical practice of other teachers, so that, according to their school reality, they may develop classes based on emerging themes. |

El propósito de este informe es tematizar el movimiento olímpico como manifestación deportiva, cultural, social y democrática en el ámbito escolar. Se trata de una experiencia, desarrollada a través de un proyecto, en las clases de Educación Física, con dos clases del cuarto año de la escuela primaria en una escuela municipal ubicada en la ciudad de Limeira, estado de São Paulo. Se impartieron treinta clases con temáticas centradas en las modalidades olímpicas, cubriendo temas transversales (igualdad de género, justicia, paz) e interdisciplinariedad. Se concluyó que las clases desarrolladas brindaron oportunidades para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes y contribuyeron a su desarrollo integral a través de temas emergentes, estrategias pedagógicas (juegos y círculos de conversación) y evaluaciones (preguntas e informes). Este proyecto influyó en la rutina de la unidad escolar y motivó a los estudiantes en un año escolar atípico. Con este informe se pretende contribuir a la práctica pedagógica de otros docentes, para que, de acuerdo con su realidad escolar, desarrollen clases en base a temas emergentes.A tematização dos Jogos Olímpicos no âmbito escolar pode trazer benefícios aos alunos, havendo, através do movimento olímpico e dos esportes, a inserção de atitudes, conceitos e vivências. O objetivo desse relato é tematizar o movimento olímpico como manifestação esportiva, cultural, social e democrática, no âmbito escolar. Ele trata de uma experiência, desenvolvida por meio de um projeto, em aulas de Educação Física, com duas turmas do quarto ano do ensino fundamental de uma escola municipal localizada na cidade de Limeira, estado de São Paulo. Foram realizadas trinta aulas com temática voltada a modalidades olímpicas, abrangendo temas transversais (igualdade de gênero; justiça; paz) e interdisciplinaridade. Concluiu-se que as aulas desenvolvidas oportunizaram a aprendizagem dos alunos e contribuíram para seu desenvolvimento integral por meio de temáticas emergentes, estratégias pedagógicas (jogos e rodas de conversa) e avaliações (questionamentos e relatos). Esse projeto influenciou a rotina da unidade escolar e motivou os alunos em um ano letivo atípico. Com o presente relato, pretende-se contribuir com a prática pedagógica de outros professores, para que, de acordo com sua realidade escolar, venham a desenvolver aulas alicerçadas em temáticas emergentes.
